Question:is the product dimensions the same as package dimensions 8x8x8?
Answer:It's 11*8*7 cm.

Question:Can this be powered by a solar panel?
Answer:You can, if you use a 12 volt solar panel, and optimally a charge controller charging a 12 volt battery such as some type of lead-acid battery. You’d have to do a little math to appropriately size the battery, based on the current draw of the light. You would want more than you need, as you probably couldn’t fully charge the battery in one day, especially if it’s a bit overcast.

Question:I have a 12v landscape transformer and run other 12v 850nm ir lights from it. can i do the same with this ir illuminator?
Answer:The power supplies included with these IR lights have an input of 110V AC, ie, line voltage. They output 12 VDC. If the lights are rated to run on 12 VDC, there should be no problem.
